How would you describe this student’s ideal learning context?

Our group believes that distributed learning is the most suitable for Kris. Kris is deaf, the real teaching environment will be difficult for him because he needs to spend a lot of time communicating. Kris is usually very busy and can only use the saved time to study. The advantage of distributed learning is that there is a clear plan. If Kris uses open learning, he is likely to give up today’s study after a busy day and become inefficient. Distributed learning fits Kris well in this situation.

The barriers to learning that are preventing safe, flexible, and supportive learning experiences and environments for this student?

Our group felt that Kris lacked time and money. Lack of time makes his study time not flexible enough. Lack of money left him less free to choose his learning environment.

Equity, social justice, and/or cultural considerations are preventing safe, flexible, effective, and supportive learning experiences and environments for this student?

In our group’s opinion, congenital deafness is the most unequal condition. His deafness would make him a poor match for most educational resources. At the same time, he is likely to suffer from social discrimination. It is also a challenge to make today’s different teaching models inclusive of more people.
